The rampant distribution of illegal opioids is robbing us of our children, siblings, parents and friends. It’s time to decriminalize addiction and place harsh and unforgiving penalties where they belong…. On the dealer.  Whether the dealer is a corrupt and shameless physician or the street-level heroin dealer, it’s time to “SMOKE THE DEALER!” 

 

It’s time to make the criminal penalties so severe for the sale of illegal opioids that the risk of criminal conviction is no longer worth the financial gain.  How do we propose to “SMOKE THE DEALER!”?   By petitioning our lawmakers to pass uniform state and federal legislation for the illegal sale of an opioid.  We demand the mandatory minimum sentence for the illegal sale of an opioid be “25 to LIFE”.

What can you do to help us? First, spread the word! Join us in telling our lawmakers that we simply are not going to take it anymore.  We all agree that addiction is an illness.  But the illegal sale of an opioid is a crime against all of us.  Show your support by prominently displaying a bumper sticker or wearing a t-shirt.  When someone asks you about the “Smoke a Dealer” message, please direct them to our website.

Second, if you agree that the illegal sale of opioids is an act that is literally destroying our communities and families, please sign our petition.  Ask your friends, family and co-workers to sign our petition.  Help us recruit more support. Help us create a title wave of support. The kind of support that state and federal lawmakers can’t ignore.  Help us tell our lawmakers that we want opioid dealers to be treated the same as a criminal that attempts to murder an innocent victim.  Because that’s exactly what opioid dealers are doing. They are complicit in the death of a suffering addict.
